The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Central Organisation, Located In Delhi, Operates Under The Chief Of Staff Committee (COSC) Through AG And DGDC&W In The Army HQ. It Is Headed By The Managing Director, ECHS, A Serving Major General. ECHS Aims To Provide Comprehensive Healthcare Services To Ex-Servicemen And Their Dependents. There Are 28 Regional Centres ECHS And 426 ECHS Polyclinics Across India. ECHS Is Also An Attached Office Of The Department Of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry Of Defence (MoD).
